The Public Relations (PR) team at Creative Mischief hails from top PR firms in Atlanta and in Los Angeles with the key media relationships and the communications expertise to get your company’s message heard. From launching a new product to developing your service niche, we’ll position and pitch your story for the earned publicity that drives business and builds brands. And, we’ll do it all with a conscience.
The difference between Creative Mischief PR and the big PR companies (where our principal practitioners cut their teeth): We trim the fat, giving our clients an efficient and tailored campaign to reach their specific marketing priorities. We care about your goals; we listen to your needs, and we help you prioritize. We are highly skilled at executing our Right Message, Right Audience, Right Timing (RightMAT™) approach, which lands your unique business offering on the pages of the right publications and on the right news shows and blogs. This RightMAT™ methodology can only be accomplished by the brightest, most experienced and most connected PR practitioners who deeply care about the best results. That’s Creative Mischief PR—proven methodology, razor sharp stragegy, with a conscience.
Building upon our unique knowledge of how to leverage the internet to gain maximum exposure for our clients, Creative Mischief PR garners attention from print and television media with the advantage of a strong internet presence.
The nation’s top 100 newspapers, targeted national and local print magazines, radio, television talk shows and newsrooms—we infuse it all with the internet expertise for which we are known. With this holistic approach, Creative Mischief Public Relations campaigns are bolstered and energized by our proven web design, development, Search Engine Optimization, and internet marketing capabilities. Our core marketing competencies work synergistically to provide the most powerful and efficient modern campaigns for our clients.
No one knows the story your company has to tell as well as you do. Creative Mischief knows how to listen and craft your story into published news.
What is PR?
When the news media feature your story, which they pull from our skillfully-crafted and creatively-positioned press release, free publicity is generated for your company. Frequently, your story will be “placed” not only in one major newspaper, but in three or four, as well as in glossy lifestyle magazines or on major networks such as ABC or CBS. These exposures in the media are the gift that keeps on giving, because, unlike an ad, they often proliferate as secondary media pick up and reference the same news story—your story.
How PR Provides Bang For Your Buck
Compare the price of a full-page ad from a major news publication—generally tens of thousands of dollars—and you’ll see why PR is a force you want to put to work for your company. Even local papers and magazines typically charge several thousand dollars for an ad. For a fraction of this cost, as a monthly PR retainer, you can receive better, more comprehensive and more credible coverage than with paid advertising in the same outlets. Research demonstrates that public relations campaigns consistently generate a higher return on investment than even the largest ad campaigns.
We recommend a blended approach, but emphasize how publicity differs from advertising, namely because of the news-credibility factor. Since many advertising exposures are not actually read, but are ignored by the viewer, the true impressions gained are generally greater from publicity, even when the number of impressions (number of eyes the content reaches) is the same. This is because the viewer/reader is being exposed to perceived newsworthy content—your message. This credibility factor can also increase the equity value of your company. Our news releases, for example, not only reach journalists, but they also capture potential customers and/or investors, which can translate into your products and/or services being both funded and made more profitable and your company more valuable, simply based on the media interest in them.
